JIU JITSU INSTRUCTOR

Duties:
Assist in teaching Martial Arts (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) techniques at Professional Strength & Conditioning Inc/DBA: FOCUSED FITNESS to adult and youth beginners in addition to intermediate-level students. Perform demonstrations and teach seminars. Assist in teaching techniques using the entire body movements, rotating the hip with each guard control, passage, sweep, and block. Teach advanced Self Defense classes focusing on developing the student’s approach to MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Fighting stance, motion, guards, and blocks in both offensive and defensive forms are the core concepts included in this class. Plan daily routines, and choose different movements for each muscle depending on the student’s capabilities and limitations. Observe the students and inform them of the corrective measures necessary for skill improvement. Monitor the student’s progress and adapt programs as needed. Will work 40 hours per week. Job is located in Greenville, South Carolina.
Requirements: 24 months experience as a Jiu-Jitsu Instructor
Salary: $37.00/hr
Hours: 40 hrs/wk
